Welcome to the Finger Lakes Virtual Museum (FLVM)! Explore the history of Ontario County, NY like never before. Imagine an outdoor “museum” accessible at your fingertips from dusk to dawn. Through modern technology of extended reality and QR codes, these stories of Ontario County’s history come to life. Your cell phone is the tool to tie together what happened at various historic sites in the 1600s or 1800s or another time frame. Let our resident alpaca friend, FeLiX, changemaker Susan B. Anthony, and others take you back in time!

-More of the Story: Historic Markers and plaques often share a small snippet of a much larger story. Interactive content in the Virtual Museum expands on these and then directs you to where you can visit for even more of the story.

-QR Codes are placed at each participating sign location. Just scan the code in app and start your journey to learning more!
