Explore the vibrant history of Huntsville, Ontario with walking and driving tours curated by the Huntsville and Area Historical Society. As a not-for-profit dedicated to the preservation and promotion of our local history and built heritage, we proudly celebrate the work and achievements of those who helped to found our beautiful town.
With the help of the Muskoka Heritage Place and local historians, this app uses archival photos to explore the 'then and now' of our town over the past 150 years. As you progress through the tours, each stop is GPS activated and is accompanied by a written and audio description of each building, along with interesting photographs. Users are also welcome to navigate through the tour at their own pace. Be sure to update the app regularly as we add new stops and tours!!
