I'm trying the free version on an android. It crashes when I try to set a reminder. It doesn't tell you a function is premium until you try it. Since I don't remember the limits that's frustrating. They need to be indicated some way. One I didn't realize right away from the documentation was no photos. One thing I miss about Google Keep is being able to see the content without opening the note.

pretty dang good! my only issue is the notebooks, right? I feel like if a note is saved to a notebook, it should only be seen when we open the notebook, and notes that are not saved to notebooks are fine where they're at. other than that, about the best I can ask for! love the privacy and the quiet of the app, great to use as a diary!

I've edited my review cus I am rightfully confused. They seem to lock arbitrary things behind a high paywall but then things like encryptions, backups (they are local), syncing across devices, etc... is free? I dont understand this model but I do really like how the app functions and its UI. So i'll be sticking with it for now but i cant see myself paying to be able to make whatever notebook i'd like to be, home. i'd rather pay for the encryption services, and have the home NB free.
