Your phone is full of files. Bills, PDFs, photos, downloads, notes, spreadsheets. Finding the right one is still a pain.
Ru helps you search your phone the way you actually remember things: by what the file is, not just what it is called.
Search in plain language. Open what you need. Everything stays on your phone.
Find files the way you think
Most file apps only match filenames. Ru goes further.
• Search "electricity bill March" and find a PDF even if it is named IMG_4821.pdf
• Search "budget spreadsheet last quarter" and find the right Excel file
• Search "mera Aadhaar" or "my PAN card" and find documents tied to you
• Search a person's name inside contracts, NDAs, and other documents
• Type in Hindi, English, or Hinglish
Results show up as you type. You do not need the exact filename.

Documents and Downloads are scanned first, so the stuff you need most becomes searchable sooner.
Voice search
Tap the mic and say what you are looking for. Useful when you are busy or not sure how something is spelled.
Scanned documents too
Some PDFs are really photos of paper. Ru can read text from scanned documents in the background, including Hindi and English, so those files become searchable too.
Open, share, and manage from search
When you find the right file, you can:
• Open it in another app
• Share it on WhatsApp or anywhere else
• Rename it or check details
• Remove it if you no longer need it
• Pin important files for quick access
Your files stay on your phone
• Search and scanning happen on your device
• Your name, if you add one, stays on your phone to help with searches like "my document"
• No ads, no tracking SDKs
Ru needs access to read files on your device so it can search them locally. That is how it works.
Voice search uses your phone's built-in speech recognition, which may use the internet on some devices. You can turn it off in Settings.

Add your name if you want better results for searches like "mera PAN"
Start searching. Ru keeps scanning in the background while you use the app
You can turn on daily re-scan in Settings to keep your library up to date.
