Tower defense -Back to the roots is a classic tower defense where you create a maze of towers. But it is also you who send the monsters at the opponent and the opponent sends at you. Combine defense with offense to defeat any challenging opponent you will encounter!

Key features of Tower Defense - Back to the roots include a variety of opponents with distinct tactics and abilities. You can choose from several classes of builders, each equipped with unique towers that come with their own set of advantages and disadvantages. With over 100 maps offering diverse landscapes, players must adapt their strategies to different scenarios. Some maps have large open fields, while others provide limited areas for tower construction. There may be mountains that are strategic and give your tower additional range.

GAME MODES:
”NORMAL”
You get gold every 30 seconds of your income. To get more income, you need to buy monsters that will attack the opponent. You also get money from monsters you kill but only once. It is important to combine offense and defense so that the opponent does not get significantly more income than you. You win by sending monsters that take all of the enemy's lives.

”SURVIVAL”
You just build defenses while there are waves of monsters trying to take your lives. You win by surviving longer than your opponent.

”ONLINE MULTIPLAYER”
Play 1 vs 1 against a friend in a private match.
Challenge other players 1 vs 1 in a quick match.

DAILY CHALLENGE:
Get a new challenge every day with tower defense with a twist.

You can play offline against several different unique enemies and maps or online multiplayer against other players in the world.

It's a pretty solid tower defense game. I would recommend reading the game guide. Tutorial needs work. Edit: after some thought, the primary concerns I had with the tutorial was the lack of detail concerning attacking, specifically how it relates to income (which is very clever) and possible the point of attacking. I remember being confused for a moment, which could just be me. Also, having a cooperative game mode could be interesting.

This really is reminiscent of what TDs were. It reminds me of the old custom maps from WarCraft III and Brood War (yeah, back to the roots is right!). it's simplistic in a good way while still being challenging. They just need to add another creep wave and tier for towers. And the monetization is actually perfect. If you enjoy the game, you can purchase more levels / factions. No buying coins to level your towers bs

Good game, until you have to purchase to win... I am done with micro transactions. Edit: Yes, all good. Where isthe second builder? I only ever got the starter. But to complete those free levels.. $$. I might have, if I was not forced. Dessert level with extra spawn point next to home gate, making it only possible with$$. If that wasn't the case I would 5 star and continue. Instead you lose me and my gaming community.
