About this game

You're an accountant. Every floor of your office is a desk full of
backlogs. After all, the Revenue Agency is always waiting for you.

Il Faldone is a card-based roguelike: build your deck of
professional tools—Electronic Invoices, Self-Protection, Voluntary Disclosures,
Contradictory Tools—and face them against paperwork, delinquent clients, and increasingly demanding
tax audits.

WHAT'S IN THE GAME
- Card-based combat: drag the right card to solve the case
- 8 different bosses, inspired by real-life tax situations — Avviso Bonario,
INPS, INAIL, Cartella Esattoriale, Negative DURC, Rottamazione-Quinquies
and more
- Each card has a "field" (Operational, Debt Collection, Litigation):
use the right tool for the right problem, or you'll only do half the damage
- Each enemy has a specific weak point, based on real-life tax
procedures — find it for a damage bonus
- Multiple-choice customer scenarios, with real-world consequences on the game
- End-of-game statistics: damage inflicted, most used cards, and more
- Music and sounds generated on the fly, customizable card backs

An idea born as a joke among fellow accountants, turned into a real game
— complete with correct regulatory references (right down to the latest
scrappage).
