4/27/2026 update. so I wrote a review before and played a few more months, here's what I know. while this game is fun, it's a money grab. everything leads you to buy something. the matches are uneven, and I think majority of the time you are playing against Ai. they purposely make the game harder (or even dictate when you win or lose) to frustrate you into spending more money. so if you have money to waste, then it's a good game.

Gave this game another shot & it's as bad as ever. Despite the devs claiming otherwise, you will NEVER progress past a certain point (around Arena 7-9) without spending money which they relentlessly encourage with multiple "passes" for all the minigame types & by pairing you with people who are several levels above you. Also wouldn't recommend the season pass! It only lets you claim rewards up to a certain point. After that you have to spend even more money (big surprise) to upgrade. 0/10

Really enjoyed at first, although battles were slightly too easy at first. After going into the 5th arena, I went from winning 81% of my battles in arenas 1-4 to losing nearly every battle over several days. The algorithm seems off... and yes, I occasionally buy small-priced packages to enjoy tlmy time in the game, but clearly not enough to even be competitive with the cards I currently have. Losing interest pretty quickly now.
