Its ok, definitely a simulator, the grind is real! Make sure to do contracts to move forward more quickly. The smaller boats are very touchy as far as maneuvering them around, and when the waves change and your boat goes under water your screen just goes black and freaks out. But for a mobile game, its not bad. Edit: Game has so many glitches its unplayable, example: you'll be going along and then get transported into the middle of no where and run out of fuel.

Unique fishing game, gets pretty fun once you level up enough to get better gear and boats. There are some things that need work as far as the game play goes, but is probably the best fishing game I have played. I would like to see a multi player option in the future! Edit, 8/19/2025 there was a bug with an update. I contacted the developer and it was fixed in a fairly quick amount of time. I am looking forward to u-captain 2!

first i'd say the game is good. if you like fishing north Atlantic or fishing barents sea, this is the unofficial mobile version of those games. however, too many features cost gold to unlock and gold is very hard to come by unless you spend real world money. I understand it's a free game and the devs should get something for their trouble. I just would have better preferred they charged a couple dollars up front for the game, and get rid of the gold aspect all together.
