No more “around 1:23, the hand looks a bit…”. Hello Feedback lets you stop video, images and PDFs on any frame, leave notes and drawings right there, and hand off a note PDF or PNG. On a tablet you draw with a pen and scrub with your finger.

Made for animators and directors, editors and producers, storyboard artists, teachers and reviewers — anyone whose feedback is hard to put into words.

■ Open
• Video: mp4, mov, mkv, webm (H.264, HEVC, VP9)
• Image sequences — several images as one set, one frame each
• Storyboard and design PDFs — one page per frame
• No server, no account, no upload

■ Exact frames
• Step frame by frame and the frame number always matches the picture
• Fractional FPS such as 23.976 and 29.97, frame offset (start at 1001)
• 0.25× to 8× speed, loop, ping-pong or play once, In/Out range loop
• Drag a finger across the picture to scrub

■ Notes and drawings
• A text note and thumbnail card on any frame, five label colours
• Bookmarks, and step playback that shows only the noted frames in real timing
• Pen, arrow, box, text label, eraser, and a laser pointer that is never saved
• Hold drawings over several frames, a background layer under every frame, copy and paste between frames
• Pen pressure changes the line width, and your palm is ignored while you use a pen

■ Compare and view
• Onion skin — previous frames in red, next frames in green, to check spacing and arcs
• Annotation ghosting — see the strokes from neighbouring notes
• A/B compare — two versions side by side, stacked, overlaid or with a wipe
• Zoom, pan, rotate, flip, rule-of-thirds, center and safe-area guides, full screen

■ Hand off
• Note PDF — one page for every frame that has a note
• PNG — full-resolution capture with your drawings
• Notes JSON — notes, drawings, ranges and FPS in one file, to continue on another device

■ Library
• No save button. Notes save automatically and come back when you reopen the same file
• Group by project; if you moved a file, relink it once and the notes follow

■ Your work stays on your device
• No internet connection needed, and no data is collected
• No account, no ads, no subscription. Buy once and keep it

Editing codecs such as ProRes and DNxHD are not supported; please convert to H.264 mp4.
