About this app

The application is designed to learn Japanese characters, and first of all, kanj. Kanji are the adopted Chinese characters used in the modern Japanese writing system. The application will help you to memorize characters and their basic meanings and readings. There is also Kana section that allow to study and practice Japanese syllabaries, Hiragana and Katakana, which can be very useful for beginners.

To make learning kanji more comfortable, the list is divided into six levels according to Japanese school grades. Every level has lessons that generally contain 10 characters and include 3 parts: characters listing, exercises and revision.
Kanji list represents characters, their readings and meanings.
Interactive exercises include:
- Flashcards that may be useful to study or revise characters one by one
- Tests with instant results that allow to evaluate how you know the characters

Very user friendly. If you are looking for a 100% free app to learn hiragana and katakana with, this is definitely for you. The tests/reviews are perfect and they randomize every time. Flashcards don't randomize but that doesn't matter since the review test does. It has lists of the kana, several levels of tests and hiragana and katakana have tests that are a review of all previous kana, making it really simple to review and further cement them into your brain. I rarely review apps.

No bells and whistles... Just a fantastic easy to use interface to practice kanji. I love how the app uses 3 different ways for practicing and checking if you really know your stuff. Nice and simple, but a VERY powerful app that teaches you all kanji up to 6th grade for free. . . What is there to complain... The only thing I think that needs to change is the name ... A little more original name will make it easier to find and promote imho....

Nice, clean, user-friendly interface. I do use various learning resources but I can say that this is my go-to app for Kanji. Great work dev. I wonder if you have any other apps for learning japanese, would be interested in a news reader for reading practice. I haven't found one I really like, the other ones out there are usable but just meh.
