About this app

App works with Shimano E-Bike motors (EP8, E8000, E7000, E6100, E5000) via Bluetooth.
Allows:
- Get E-bike information (total distance, battery health and etc)
- Change assist settings
- Change gearing type (mechanical, electrical) and chainrings size
- Presets for quick setups of your bike
- Other features depending on bike's firmware

Warning: the new EP801 and EP6 motors do not support changing advance settings (region, circumference). All other motors with the latest firmware do not support changing advanced settings via Bluetooth.

Great app, extremely user friendly and intuitive. I find the sandard Shimano app is very slow to connect and very limited in terms of adjustments. This app gives much more flexibility in tweaking the settings, even with just the standard version. Well done to the developer and thank you! Should I decide to ever want further changes then the full licence seems great value as well but I'm happy with the standard for now. (I'm running a Shimano e8000 with Di2 gears btw)

Works great, I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because the connection is not streight forward. You need to switch off the motor and then back on but still quicker is some respects than Shimano Etube. It took me a while to find the right settings to preserve the battery. I used to run out of battery after 16 miles of flat trail which previously required only 50% of the battery. Now I use the power save preset which achieves the same battery range as my previous Shimano trail settings. Very happy now.

4 star for the app (extra hardware requirement) 5 star developer support! Worked fine but needed hardware connection to work (Shimano EP8 motor). Purchased a license and tried to set location to US (for increased top assisted speed) but Android app (though it connects to my bike better than the official Shimano eTube app!!) was unable to alter the market location to the USA. Since I'd bricked my bike with the eTube app on my phone trying to do a firmware upgrade (!) I bought the SM-PCE02 interface box to do any further upgrades. I used the (licensed) STunlocker app in a Windows 10 virtual machine running in Parallels on a Mac to make the changes. It is important to have the bike switched ON to get and change the settings otherwise you get a "communication error" message. The interface box is an expensive bit of kit but if you have it you can avoid having to downgrade the bike firmware to make changes. A friend did get his EP8 market location reset over bluetooth from a laptop PC but not sure if this app was used or not...
