About this app

Write by hand on your phone or tablet as if it were paper. Collanote brings your notebooks, your PDFs, your planners and your flashcards into one calm, offline place. No account, no sign-in: open it and write.

INK THAT FEELS REAL
• Pressure-sensitive pens with a stylus, smooth simulated pressure with a finger
• A highlighter that sits under your ink instead of covering it
• Stroke and precise erasers, shape snapping, undo and redo
• Lasso to move, resize, recolour, duplicate, copy and paste between notebooks
• Palm rejection: rest your hand on the screen while the pen writes
• Text boxes, photos and a sticker pack to decorate pages

NOTEBOOKS THE WAY YOU LIKE THEM
• Papers: blank, lined, narrow lined, grid, dotted, isometric, Cornell, music staff, storyboard, handwriting practice
• 13 illustrated papers: flowers and leaves, seasons, cute and playful, artistic borders
• Cover artworks and paper colours, including a dark paper
• Folders, favourites, sorting and search across titles, PDF text, typed text and AI-transcribed text
• Quick note button: one tap and you are writing
• PIN lock for private notebooks

PLANNERS READY TO FILL
• Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly planners, to-do lists, habit and water trackers
• Budget, meal, reading, fitness, gratitude, goal, study, travel and project planners
• Every planner is a real notebook: write, highlight and add pages freely

PDF AND SCANS
• Import PDFs (slides, worksheets, chapters up to 300 pages) and annotate every page
• Scan paper documents with the camera, or turn photos into pages
• Export any notebook as a PDF to share or print

STUDY SMARTER
• Flashcard decks with spaced repetition and a daily review
• Ready-made decks to start today: world capitals, science, maths, history and first words in a new language
• Study streak and an optional daily reminder
• AI tools on any page: turn handwriting into text, summarise a lecture, create flashcards, translate, or get a step-by-step solution to an exercise
• AI tools work online: the page you choose is sent to our AI service only when you tap a tool, and is not kept
• Voice notes recorded inside your notebook

YOUR NOTES STAY YOURS
• Notebooks, PDFs and recordings stay on your device
• Back up everything to a single file and restore it on a new phone, or bring your notebooks along with Android's phone-to-phone transfer (Android 12 and later)
• Light and dark themes, 11 languages
