Good for hand writing I do not really use for note-taking, it is not very good for taking notes for all your classes. For that I would suggest Evernote (works really well). this app is more work for information that you can't just type. For example I use this app to do my homework, like physics where you have to write a lot equations and calculations. It has features like zoom to like a 1100X. I would highly recommend it.
Great alternative I used this throughout Notes 2-3-4, I did not use it in 5, but that's because I hated the 5, sold it and again bought another 4. I did not appreciate it at the time - say 2013, 14 - but with S-Note totally screwing up, it now seems a better alternative. It's a snap. No UI hoops and redundant clicking. But the UI needs a little revamp, nicht war ?
Great when it works Like someone recently said, it sometimes creates documents you cannot open again. Once i lost a few important notes, i stopped using it. You can see the notes in the list, but when you click on them it does nothing and they are gone for good since you cannot store them in a normal format. Other than this, it's the best note taking app.
Shows promise The deal breaker in an app of this type is the inability to disable the back key. I have been waiting and hoping for this function in an update, but nothing so far. It can't be that difficult to implement? Otherwise excellent, it's quick and simple and not loaded down with unnecessary clutter.
A very good alternative Papyrus Really like this note taking app. Although I did find a bug with the bookmark text not showing in the bookmark view and I feel it is lacking some things, I still feel it is good enough for me to start using it for taking notes in meetings and seminars. Well done developers!
I like it, but I need it to actually change the file names (of the svg and html) after renaming a document inside the app. The windows version handles this better, since your are prompted for a name after creating a new note- which is actually reflected in the real files, not just inside the app. Whild we are at it, I would like the structure withing the app (folders/files) to be reflected in the actual file directory. Right now all notes are stored in the main app folder. Thanks for this cross platform app!
