I gave some feedback and the developers responded quickly to it, that's great! The app has everything you'd ask for in a Sudoku app and nothing you don't want. old review: could be great, the game instantly tells you when you've entered an incorrect digit, if this could be turned off I'd give the app 5 stars

This is done. Please update the App.
To achieve this first click Settings icon on top, select "Customize Experience" and then turn off "Show feedback when mistake is made" option.
Mistake feedback is important for beginners so we are keeping it on as default.

why are all the current versions of sudoku so bad? there used to be one called super sudoku that didn't have a stupid pencil that you have to turn on and off. also, it let you fill in any numbers you wished to so you actually think. more similar to actually working a paper version of the puzzle. these suck

Thanks Pat Keefe to contribute to make the app less sucky.
Now you can configure your own experience in Settings.
1. Settings -> Visuals, turn off highlighting the elements
2. Settings -> Fill Numbers, allow any note to be filled in cell
3. Settings -> Fill Numbers, fill note on short press.
