NetSpeed shows how fast your connection is and where your data goes — without ads, without tracking, and without sending anything anywhere.
Your current download and upload speed sits in the status bar and the notification shade, always visible, updating live. Open the app to see which apps used your data, how much of your monthly allowance is left, and whether you are on course to go over it.

ABOUT PERMISSIONS Two permissions are optional and you grant them yourself in system settings:
• Usage access unlocks per-app usage and makes totals exact. It is only used to read network statistics — never to see which apps you open or for how long. • Display over other apps draws the floating overlay. The overlay only draws text; it cannot see or touch what is beneath it.
The app works without either one.
PRIVACY Net Speed has no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no accounts. Your usage data is stored on your device and is never uploaded. The only time the app contacts an outside server is when you press Start on the speed test, which transfers meaningless bytes to Cloudflare's public endpoint to measure throughput — nothing about you is included.
Uninstalling deletes everything.
