About this game

The town runs on the clock you hold.

In Tick Town, the big clock is how you play. Turn its hands and the whole town lives its day: the sun comes up, Clarence the rooster crows, Baker Bun opens her shop, the school bus comes for Millie, Captain Otto's ferry sets sail, and Mr Hoot lights the lamps at night. Children learn to tell the time because it's how they make things happen, not because they're quizzed on it.

The clock tower has lost its gears, and Tick Town is stuck at dawn! Help the villagers with their errands to win the gears back, one part of town at a time. Each gear is earned by really learning that part of the clock, so there's no rushing through it.

LOTS TO DO
• 64 story errands across four parts of town, plus endless practice errands that adapt to your child.
• Special days: a hot-air balloon lands in the park, a rainy morning ends in a rainbow, fireworks light up the harbour.
• Time Detective: 12 mysteries (who took Baker Bun's pie? where did Millie's ball go?) solved by rewinding the day.
• A house of your own that gets a new decoration every day in town: 20 to collect.

GROWS WITH YOUR CHILD
• Ages 2–4: a sun-and-moon wheel with no numbers. Day and night, morning and evening, and the order of daily routines.
• Ages 5–7: the hour hand first, then the minute hand. O'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to, plus digital times.
• Ages 8–9: times to 5 minutes, "how long?" puzzles, and Time Detective, where you rewind the day to find out who took Baker Bun's pie!
Progress is tracked skill by skill. The game moves on when your child really has it, and quietly gives more help when they need it.

SHOWN FIRST, NEVER QUIZZED COLD
Every new idea is shown before it's asked. Tock turns the hands while the town plays and says the rule ("half past: the long hand points down to the 6"), then your child tries it with the help showing, then on their own. One new idea a day, never a pile of them.

NOTHING EVER FAILS
Miss the bus and Millie runs after it with her backpack bouncing. Wrong answers get a funny reaction and a gentle nudge, never a buzzer. When a child is stuck, help comes a step at a time: the hand to move glows, Tock says the rule, the spot it goes lights up, then a see-through hand to follow. A "Show me" button replays Tock's demo whenever they like.

HELPFUL AWAY FROM THE SCREEN
• My Day: enter your child's real routine (wake-up, school, bath, bedtime). The clock shows the real time with a coloured slice counting down to the next thing. It's like a kitchen timer your child can read before they can tell the time.
• A timer for 5, 10 or 20 minutes, great on a tablet or TV.
• Every day in town ends at bedtime, with lamps going out and a lullaby. A natural place to stop.

MADE FOR LITTLE HANDS AND EARS
• Everything is spoken aloud, so children who can't read yet can play on their own.
• Big touch targets, and letters shaped like the ones children learn to write.
• The hour hand is short, thick and orange; the minute hand is long, thin and blue.
• A chiming tower bell counts the hours, and every villager has their own little tune.

SAFE BY DESIGN
• No ads. Nothing to buy inside the game. No accounts, no chat, no links.
• No data collected, ever. The app has no internet access at all.
• Up to 4 children, each with their own progress, behind a grown-ups' gate.
• The parent corner shows each child's progress in plain words: "Solid on half past. Practising quarter to."

PLAY ANYWHERE
Phone, tablet, Chromebook, Google Play Games on PC and Android TV. Touch, mouse, keyboard, TV remote or game controller: on a controller, circle the stick to turn the clock like a real dial.
Turn the clock and a whole little town plays through its day. For ages 3 to 9.
