We have developed an advanced computational model for golf ball flight. Our model goes beyond simply accounting for wind, altitude, and temperature, incorporating a comprehensive set of factors to ensure unparalleled precision.

The model performs 200 simulations per second to calculate ball flight with the highest possible accuracy. The app performs optimally in open landscapes with consistent wind conditions and shows you an animation of the shot.


Key factors influencing ball flight:
- Ball launch angle: Determines the initial trajectory of the shot.
- Spin: Varies depending on the club used, impacting flight dynamics.
- Spin interaction with wind: Spin affects ball flight differently in headwinds versus tailwinds.
- Temperature: Influences air density and ball travel distance.
- Wind: Accounts for headwind, tailwind, and crosswind effects.
- Air pressure: Affects lift and drag on the ball.
- Altitude: Impacts air density and ball flight distance.
- Humidity: Alters air resistance subtly but measurably.
- Ball-mass, -radious, -weight

Example impact of wind:

A 6-iron shot traveling 140 meters in a 5.7 m/s headwind loses approximately 6 meters.
A 9-iron shot traveling 140 meters in a 5.7 m/s headwind loses approximately 9 meters.

This variation occurs because headwinds and tailwinds do not affect the ball uniformly. All the factors listed above interact dynamically, influencing the ball’s flight path and the relationships between these variables.
