About this app

Sumkan is a calm Pomodoro focus timer that helps you build a steady rhythm of deep work and mindful breaks — on your phone, tablet, and Android Watch.

Start light, focus deep. Tap once and a quiet 25-minute focus session begins, followed naturally by a short break. No noisy dashboards, no pressure — just a timer you can trust.

WHY SUMKAN
• Calm by design — a focus surface that breathes slowly around the timer and never competes for your attention.
• Offline-first — your timer, settings, focus records, and tasks are stored locally on your device. Close the app or restart your phone, and the active session is restored.
• Private by default — works with no account or sign-in. Detailed focus records, task content, and settings are stored locally on your device. Depending on your Android settings, they may be included in Google cloud backup or device-to-device transfer. When Analytics is enabled, limited app-use and technical data may be processed for analytics. Google Play and RevenueCat may process app, device, purchase, and entitlement information to check and maintain Pro access and to confirm or restore purchases. Crashlytics may process limited diagnostic data to help keep the app stable, independently of your Analytics choice. With companion sync enabled, the linked timer and active-task state are exchanged with your paired watch. See the Privacy Policy.

FOCUS THAT FITS YOUR DAY
• One-tap start, pause, skip, and reset.
• Adjustable focus length, short break, long break, and long-break interval.
• A daily goal you can see at a glance.

CONNECT TASKS TO FOCUS
• Plan tasks by date and link today's task to the timer.
• See exactly what you focused on, session by session.
• Add a task fast from a quick bottom sheet and link it straight to focus.

SEE YOUR RHYTHM
• Calm daily, weekly, and monthly focus stats.
• Heatmaps, trends, and tag/task analysis help you learn when you focus best.

ON YOUR WRIST
• Your watch includes a free standalone local timer. With Sumkan Pro companion sync, you can control the linked timer from either your phone or watch and receive completion alerts on both devices. Themes and backgrounds sync too.
• Start, pause, skip, and reset right from your wrist.
• When a session ends, a wrist buzz and a notification let you know — and the timer keeps perfect time even with the screen off.
• Add the Sumkan Tile to your watch to glance at the time left and today's focus progress.

MAKE IT YOURS
• Tide backgrounds, color themes, motion levels, sounds, and fonts.
