About this game

Sumo Brawl is a side-scrolling physics-based fighting game. You control a chubby sumo hero who catches falling food with a skewer and flings it at opponents to deal damage. Defeat all enemies to clear each level!

### Core Gameplay

- **1v1 Battles**: Fight against AI-controlled enemies in one-on-one matches (up to 2 enemies at higher levels).
- **Falling Food**: Various food items drop randomly from the top of the screen. Catch them with your skewer to use as projectiles.
- **Combat**: Press attack buttons to launch food at enemies. Each hit deals damage.
- **50 Levels**: Progress through 50 increasingly difficult levels. Higher levels unlock more food types and tougher enemies.

### Controls

- **Movement**: Use the 8-direction virtual D-pad to move, or slide your finger on the touch area for directional control.
- **Attacks**:
- Downward Thrust (stab downward with skewer)
- Forward Thrust (stab straight ahead)
- Upward Strike (sweep upward)
- **Jump**: Press the jump button to leap. You can attack while airborne.

### Health & Win/Lose Conditions

- **Normal Levels**: You and the enemy each have 10 HP.
- **High Levels (Level 33+)**: Your HP increases to 20, and you face 2 enemies simultaneously.
- **Win**: Reduce all enemies' HP to 0 before time runs out. Reward: +50 gold coins.
- **Lose**: Your HP reaches 0 or the timer expires. Penalty: -50 coins (minimum 0).
- **Timer**: 120 seconds per round; extended to 180 seconds from Level 33 onward.

### Food System

There are 25 different food types. Regular food deals 1 damage per hit; special food items (#5, #10, #15, #20, #25) deal 2 damage. Higher levels introduce more food variety.

### Hero System

- 33 unique sumo heroes with full Spine skeletal animations.
- Hero #1 is unlocked by default. Others can be purchased for 300 gold coins or unlocked by watching rewarded videos.
- Each hero has multiple animations: idle, walk, crouch, jump, hit reaction, and several attack stances.

### Economy

- **Earning Coins**: Win a battle (+50), or watch a rewarded video (+50).
- **Spending Coins**: Unlock new heroes (300 coins each).
- A warning is shown when coins are insufficient.

### Social & Sharing

- Share the game with WeChat groups or friends.
- Screen recording supported on select platforms — record and share your best matches.
- Share text: *"Lucky I'm a chubby guy — I can always pinch my belly when I'm sad."*
