Ratings and reviews

The app (and website) has critical functionality that has been broken for years. They let you set dietary preferences (e.g. allergens), but these are only cosmetic. They do not actually prevent them from trying to sell you food that you cannot eat. Customer support has been very patient but ultimately they say that this is working as intended: they need you to go in and fix the meal orders every week. Food is mostly good, if rather overpriced. Delivery is fine.

Used Sunbasket for 4 weekly deliveries. Half did not arrive on my selected delivery day, including one that arrived early on Memorial Day without any warning. Support insisted adequate notice was provided and was difficult to work with when I tried resolving the issue. App experience is subpar compared to other services I've used. The food was generally good, but the app, delivery reliability, and communication need major improvement. Plenty of competitors handle this better.

Horrible company. Everything in my first order was short dated. Tried to skip my second order, but apparently you can't do that from the app. Reducing quantities to 0 does not work. They still automatically sent me food that I can't even eat due to allergies and refused to refund my card. Said I would have had to login to the website for it to actually make it skip. Predatory app design. Having to initiate a dispute with my credit card company. Will not use this service again.
