About this game

Neon Invaders II is a fast, hand-built arcade shooter that fits in one thumb.

The grid is under attack. You have one ship, a cannon that never stops firing, and a sky full of glowing alien waves closing in. Drag anywhere on the screen to fly. That is the entire control scheme — no buttons, no joystick, no tutorial to sit through.

◤ ONE-THUMB CONTROLS
Drag anywhere to move. Your cannon fires on its own. Play one-handed, standing on a train, without your fingers ever covering the action.

◤ ENDLESS ALIEN WAVES
Seven columns of invaders, five rows deep, dropping faster with every row you clear. The further you push, the harder they shoot back.

◤ CAPITAL SHIP BOSSES
Every fifth wave sends a boss: a huge armoured hull with a health bar, spread cannons, and an aimed shot that tracks you across the screen. Bring a shield.

◤ COMBO MULTIPLIER
Chain kills without pausing and your score multiplier climbs to 5x. Greedy play pays — right up until it does not.

◤ POWER-UPS
Rapid Fire, Triple Shot, Shields and Extra Lives drop from the wreckage. Grab them fast, because they fall fast.

◤ BUILT FOR SHORT SESSIONS
A run takes about two minutes. Beat your high score on a coffee break, on the bus, or in a queue.

◤ PLAYS OFFLINE
No account. No sign-up. No internet required. Your scores stay on your device.

RETRO ARCADE, REBUILT FOR YOUR PHONE

Neon Invaders II takes the classic alien-invasion arcade formula and rebuilds it for a portrait screen. Chunky pixel sprites with real neon bloom. A CRT scanline finish and a deep-space vignette. Punchy chiptune effects, screen shake with weight behind it, and haptics that land on every hit. It is the arcade cabinet feeling, in your pocket, locked at sixty frames a second.

If you grew up on classic space shooters and shoot 'em ups, this will feel immediately familiar — and the one-thumb controls mean you can actually play it on a phone instead of fighting a virtual D-pad.

PERFECT FOR

• Quick arcade sessions on a commute
• One-handed play while standing
• Retro gaming and pixel art fans
• Offline play on planes, trains and the underground
• Anyone chasing one more high score

FREE TO PLAY, AND FAIR ABOUT IT

Neon Invaders II is free, with no in-app purchases at all. It is supported by ads, and we have been deliberate about where they go:

• Banners never appear while you are flying. They show on the menu between runs, so nothing covers the action and nothing sits under your thumb.
• Full-screen ads are capped, and only ever appear at a natural break — when you tap Play Again, never the second you die.
• Rewarded ads are always optional. Watch one to continue a great run where it ended, or to launch your next run with shields, triple shot and rapid fire already active. Entirely your choice, every time.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

No account. No sign-up. No personal data collected by the game — your high score and settings never leave your device. Ads are served by Google AdMob, and you can review or change your ad privacy choices any time from the in-game Settings screen.

Defend the grid, Commander.
