About this game

SunSun — Learn to Read is a colourful, friendly game that teaches young children to read, one small step at a time.

Two courses in one app
• Hebrew (grade 1) — letters, nikud vowel marks, and reading real words.
• English (grade 1) — phonics: letter sounds, blending, and first words.
Pick a language on the first screen. You can switch whenever you like, and each course keeps its own progress.

What is in the game?
• Letters step by step, with their vowel marks.
• Find the word in the picture — the child hunts for words hidden inside beautiful illustrations.
• Vowel practice: the child picks the right nikud and hears how it sounds (Hebrew course).
• Spelling, filling in a missing letter, and matching a word to a picture.
• Tracing: writing each letter with a finger, then checking it.
• Listen and choose: the word is read aloud, and the child picks the one they heard.
• Every word is read aloud, to connect the sound to the letters.

Why parents like it
• Right for first grade and pre-school. Children read at their own pace, and nothing is timed.
• Works completely offline, so it is good for car trips and flights.
• No ads at all. No sign-up, and no personal data collected.
• Progress is saved on the device only.
• Free to play. There is one optional in-app purchase, the full version: a single payment that opens every level and removes the daily limit. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges, and the buy button sits behind a question only a grown-up can answer.
• A simple, encouraging interface, with plenty of stars.

Built with love, to help children take their first steps in reading. Good luck! ☀️
