Super Hearing turns your Android device into a live sound amplifier for clearer everyday listening. Connect your headphones, tap Start Listening, and hear sound captured by your phone’s microphone with low-latency amplification.

Whether you are following a conversation, attending a lecture, listening during a meeting, watching TV or noticing quiet sounds around you, Super Hearing gives you simple controls to make important audio easier to hear.

LIVE SOUND AMPLIFIER

Listen to surrounding sound through your headphones in real time. Super Hearing captures audio using your phone’s microphone and amplifies it while the app is open.

• View an animated waveform of incoming audio

VOLUME BOOST

Increase the microphone sound up to 2.5× using the volume booster. Changes are applied instantly while you listen, and audio limiting helps reduce clipping and distortion at higher levels.

NOISE REDUCTION

Switch on noise reduction to reduce background hiss and distracting ambient noise. This can make speech easier to follow during conversations, lectures, meetings and other everyday situations.

LEFT AND RIGHT AUDIO BALANCE

Move amplified sound toward the left or right ear using the balance control. This provides a more comfortable assistive listening experience when you prefer stronger audio on one side.

RECORD IMPORTANT SOUNDS

Use the built-in audio recorder to save lectures, meetings, sermons, voice notes and other important sounds.

RECORDINGS LIBRARY

Find your saved audio in one convenient place. Recordings are arranged with the newest first and include their name, date, time and duration.

SIMPLE AND PRIVATE

Super Hearing requests only microphone permission to provide live amplification and audio recording. Saved recordings remain in the app’s private local storage and are not uploaded to cloud storage.
