This game made me want to punt a fish across a basketball court. I just experienced the worst connection of my life. I WAS NEXT TO MY INTERNET MOTEM!! I was up by one tower, and all I had to do to seal the game was arrows his tower. When I went to do so, the game told me I had poor connection. It froze. my towers were basically full health, he was already missing one and the other one had 98 health. I went to play arrows, and the freeze happened. the game went 10x speed to catch up and I lost.

Game is fine, but they messed everything basic up. Card acquisition seems to be much slower, as well as overall progression, and the Hero card paywall B.S, just a money hungry game and I don't see why. Emotes should not be no $5, and if you introduce a battlepass system, then you need to incorporate a way where players can PLAY to pay, instead of asking for $12 dollars EVERY single season. Just greedy, and the amount you spend on ANYTHING in this game is just not worth it. Save your money.

I didn't touch this game for several years after my initial review so felt I'd try it while on a longer trip. The variety and availability of decks has definitely improved a bit but still really isn't great for casual players and ones who don't want to spend any money. While I can find it fun at times the overall flow, especially with the hero type cards, feels poorly established for a returning player. Maybe it's better for those who started in it or have been on for the whole ride.
