I want to start off y stating I've been playing for about 4 years (since 2020), and the game has noticably gotten more pay to win. It's sad to see it become so filled with micro-transactions. It's not 100% required but it makes it a lot faster, especially at higher levels where beating higher level players can be almost impossible. The reason I'm giving the game 4 stars is because it's a fun game and also a really good one for mobile. I'd recommend installing it anyway.

Fun until you reach a point where you have to pay to win.. Even the bots, at some point, have the exact counters or have max troop levels. It becomes a waste of time trying to win if you do not pay for fast upgrades 2024 now - I stopped playing and thought I would see what changed.. the answer is nothing. The match making on this game is geared to make you pay to win. You will not be matched against equal competitors. They will always have double hitpoints unless you pay to get upgrades.

I've played this game since 2016 when the Princess was the first legendary, and the game has been going downhill. Evolutions, P2W mechanics and the shop being over run with countless "great deals!" The game has become a nightmare, filled with overpowered cards and the true strategy is now just lost. Spam evolutions until you win, or spend money to max out every card you have. It's not like it was back then, and I wish it would change.
