About this app

You have read it four times. Every version you draft is either too much or too little, and it has been sitting there twenty minutes.

SayThis reads the message you are stuck on and writes the reply — in the tone you choose, in the app you are already in.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Give it the conversation. Paste the message, add a screenshot, or use the SayThis keyboard without leaving the thread.
2. Choose how you want to sound. Sixteen tones, and you can blend up to three — Calm plus Firm, Warm plus Direct — plus how long the reply should be.
3. Read it and send it. SayThis puts the draft in your message box. The send button is still yours.

SIXTEEN TONES

Natural, Friendly, Confident, Professional, Casual, Funny, Flirty, Empathetic, Firm, Apologetic, Persuasive, Calm, Supportive, Direct, Warm and Enthusiastic. Blend up to three, because the useful ones are combinations — Calm plus Firm is a different reply from either.

THREE LENGTHS

Short, Normal or Detailed. "Sorry, can't" and a proper explanation are different answers, and you pick which one you are sending.

THE KEYBOARD

SayThis installs as a keyboard, so it works inside Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram, Gmail and anywhere else you type. A keyboard genuinely cannot read your conversation, so SayThis does not pretend to — take the screenshot everyone already knows how to take, and it reads the thread from that, usually on your phone.

ANY LANGUAGE

It answers in the language the other person wrote in, or one you pin.

NOT QUITE RIGHT? CHANGE IT

Too long, make it shorter. Not the voice you wanted, change the tone. Want a different angle entirely, ask for another. It rewrites until it is the one you would have written.

WHAT IT NEVER DOES

SayThis never sends anything itself. It writes the draft, puts it in your box, and stops there. Every message is yours to read, edit and send.

PRIVACY

Your conversations are not stored. Screenshots are read and then deleted. The reply is held for five minutes so a retried request is not charged twice, and nothing else is kept. You are asked before anything is sent for processing, and you can say no.
