Superlexa teaches Spanish and French the way fluent readers actually learn: by reading. Pick a story at your level, start reading, and tap any word you don't know. The meaning appears instantly, so you keep your place and your momentum.

READ STORIES AT YOUR LEVEL
Stories are sorted into three levels: Level 1 for readers new to the language, Level 2 for building fluency, and Level 3 for reading with ease. Start with short, gripping true stories like the disappearance of Flight MH370, Amelia Earhart's last flight and the breaking of the Enigma machine. Move on to classic literature from writers like Emilia Pardo Bazán, Pío Baroja, Edgar Allan Poe and Anton Chekhov as your reading grows.

TAP ANY WORD
Tap a word to see what it means right there in the sentence, without leaving the page. Each entry gives you the dictionary form and a short note on where the word comes from, often linking it to an English word you already know. Stuck on a whole sentence? Tap on the eye icon at the top of the page for a full translation.

HEAR EVERY SENTENCE
Turn on narration and listen while you read. The current sentence is highlighted as it's spoken, so you connect how words look with how they sound. Narration keeps playing when you lock your phone, and you can choose between a Latin American and a European Spanish accent. A built-in pronunciation guide explains the sounds of the language.

REMEMBER WHAT YOU READ
Save the words you want to keep. Superlexa turns them into flashcards and uses spaced repetition to schedule each review just before you'd forget it. A few minutes a day is enough to make new vocabulary stick. Set how many new cards you want per day and get an optional daily reminder when reviews are waiting.

A FULL DICTIONARY
Look up any Spanish or French word from the Dictionary tab, even when you're not reading. Every entry shows its meanings and word origin, and you can save it to your flashcards in one tap.
