Ever wondered what time your cat went out for their morning prowl? Worked late and worried about whether your pet had enough food to eat at home? Or wanted reassurance that your pet was coming, going, eating and drinking normally while you’re not there?

Using the Sure Petcare App with Sure Petcare Connected products – including the SureFlap® Microchip Cat Flap Connect, SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect, SureFeed® Microchip Pet Feeder Connect and the Felaqua® Connect – allows you to do all of this and more from your phone. Features of the Sure Petcare app
• View all of your Sure Petcare connected products in one place, to get a clearer overall picture of your pet’s day-to-day activity, behaviour, feeding and drinking.

• View your pet’s dashboard for a snapshot of their day: how much time have they spent outside? When did they last eat? How much did they drink? and much more.

• Monitor your pet’s activity and behaviour patterns over time. Understanding your pet’s ‘usual’ routines makes it easier to spot anomalies which may indicate changes in health and wellbeing.

• Receive notifications of events such as when your pet eats, drinks and enters/exits via the pet door.

• Invite friends, family and pet sitters to share access to your household via their own app account - no more sharing passwords. Manage their permissions to grant them the appropriate level of access.

SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap Connect & Microchip Pet Door Connect
• Remotely lock or unlock the door anytime, from anywhere.

• Set a curfew routine to keep pets in at specified times during the day (one curfew per day for the Microchip Pet Door Connect or up to four curfews per day for the Microchip Cat Flap Connect).

• Know when your pet leaves or enters your home.

• Monitor your pet’s day-to-day comings and goings. Understanding your pet’s ‘usual’ routine can help you to spot changes which may indicate changes in your pet’s health and wellbeing.

• Microchip Cat Flap Connect Only: control entry and exit permissions per pet.

SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect
• Set portion sizes for up to two types of food (oz or g). You can then weigh food portions accurately using the feeder’s integrated scales and portion indicator lights.

• Check when your pet last ate and how much food is left in their bowl.

• Monitor your pet’s feeding behaviour over time – see how much, how often and when they eat. A change in feeding behaviour can be a key indicator of a change in health or wellbeing.

• Check when the pet sitter last fed your pet when you are away from home.


Felaqua Connect
• Felaqua Connect monitors how much, how often and when your cat drinks each day and reports it to you via the Sure Petcare app.

• View water consumption reports by day, week, month or six months, making it easy to spot significant changes in water consumption.

•Receive a notification whenever your cat drinks from Felaqua Connect, for real-time reassurance when you are away from home.

•Receive a notification when the water in the reservoir needs to be replenished.

Ratings and reviews

We got the Cat flap connect and hub bundle, because we have a new kitten and she is not allowed to get outside yet, the app and the hub are working without issues. The app, hub and the cat flap connect are easy to setup, unlike other reviews I don't have issues with the app and its interface, it looks nice and it is easy to work with. Hoping to see some improvements, like I mention below. It would be 5 stars for me if next things were added or fixed: 1- Google Home integration. 2- Able to mute or change the volume of the notification, on my phone I could change the notification sound to low volume one by adding a new notification sound to my phone, but my wife's phone is not able to that due to older version of Android, her phone only disables the sound in settings of the phone. 3- Separate notification sounds for each cat. 4- This is not app related, but our older cat gets out very slowly sometimes, her tail cause the flap not go back totally in its closed position, and it stays little open without locks, because of this issue our kitten can go outside, a spring loaded flap would be nice.

It's okay, but it feels like some corners were cut software-wise. It should be possible to set a different curfew per pet. It should be possible to select which notifications you want to see and which not. The app hasnt been updated in a year. Tasker integration would be ideal, of course, but I wouldn't really expect a proprietary piece of software to support that. But then their own software should not be missing features.

Used this app with the Microchip Cat Flap Connect for a week and it is working fine so far. Installation was easy, we connected the hub to a nearby Sonos speaker because our router was too far away. Both our phones get a message when our cat leaves or enters the house. The overview of the time spent outside is decent. Two features I had expected, but which are currently missing: 1. An 'unlocked' mode, in which the scanner is off and any cat could theoretically enter without being scanned. This would have helped our cat in getting used to the flap, as the clicking sound has been somewhat off-putting for her. The advice to use tape to keep the flap open feels not like the most elegant solution. 2. The option to add an 'outside cat': a cat who cannot enter your through the cat flap but is allowed to leave. Our neighbor's cat sneaks in through a window on occasion, it would be nice if she could leave through the door (and we would get a notification that she was inside!) Hopefully, features like these will be added in the future!
