The photos pile up. WhatsApp threads, the gallery roll, scattered folders, a chat with the resident who has the post-op shot — and six months later nobody can find anything when you need it for follow-up clinic. SurgiSafe is the answer: a surgical case photo organizer that lives the way a surgeon thinks, with your own Google Drive as the cloud and no servers in between. Built by a practising plastic surgeon, between cases.

Most photo apps weren't designed for the way an OR works — gloves on, light low, attention split between a phone and a patient. SurgiSafe is.


WHY SURGEONS USE IT

• Patient → Procedure → Photo. The hierarchy a surgeon already thinks in.
• Offline-first. Add cases, write notes, organize photos with no signal — sync happens later.
• Your own Google Drive is the cloud. There is no SurgiSafe server. Photos never reach us — they sync directly to a folder in your account.
• Built around real cases, not stock features. Every option came from a real moment in a real OR.


WHAT'S INSIDE

• Search across every case. By procedure, diagnosis, complication, or anything you typed in OT notes. Find a radial forearm flap from 2022 in two taps. Cross-reference complications across years. Pull up every case with a specific donor site for teaching.
• Recent Image Library. Forgot which case? Every photo across every patient, newest first — tap any image to jump to its case. Saves you when memory fails between OT lists.
• Voice notes per case. Hands-free operative dictation, saved with the photos. Closer to how surgeons actually think than typing.
• Pre-Op / Intra-Op / Post-Op categorization, automatic where possible.
• One-tap PDF reports for follow-up clinic, audits, teaching, or medico-legal documentation.
• Five built-in photo viewers — Strip, Categorized, Cover flow, Story mode, Vertical feed. Pick how each case plays.
• One-tap auto-date. No fiddling with calendar pickers in scrubs.
• Themes and accent colours — Graphite, Navy, Emerald, Burgundy.


HOW THE STORAGE WORKS

Your photos live in two places:
1. On your phone — full quality, instantly viewable offline.
2. In your own Google Drive — the only cloud involved.

We don't operate a server. We never see your photos. We never see your patients' names. The app authenticates Drive via Google Sign-In with access only to the folder it creates — nothing else in your Drive is touched or visible.

Two storage modes, switchable anytime:
• Local + Drive Sync (recommended) — full quality on your phone, backed up to Drive.
• Drive + Data Saver — photos go straight to Drive, only thumbnails stay on the phone. Good for storage-tight devices.


RELIABILITY

The library heals itself. Background maintenance scans for stale folder names, leftover records, duplicate uploads from interrupted syncs, and missing photos — and quietly fixes them. Edits made offline are queued and reconciled when you're back online. Sync just works.


PRIVACY BY DESIGN

• No analytics. No telemetry. No tracking SDKs.
• No advertising IDs.
• Patient names and case notes never leave your device.
• You can revoke Drive access anytime from your Google account.

NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE

SurgiSafe is a productivity tool for organizing photographs. It is not a medical device, EHR, or HIPAA-compliant storage solution. You remain responsible for patient consent and for compliance with the healthcare laws of your jurisdiction.
