We have been using the SUTRO device for about 3 years now on a 40K condo pool. As the "Pool Guy", I appreciate the ability to monitor it remotely and have found the data to be accurate and dependable. If there are issues, customer service is prompt and most issues have been resolved remotely. Sutro is a growing company and while there were some "teething pains" the first year, they seem to have gotten on top of the issues and built out a great customer service function. Highly Recommended

Pros: the device/app is good for monitoring PH, chlorine, alkalinity, & water temp. readings seem to be fairly accurate. i don't have to go out when it's cold or dark... Cons: sutro advertises the ability to input manual and pool store test results, but that doesn't work for me. the help desk was quick to respond, but closed my ticket with no solution. scanning the tiny QR code on new cartridges can be difficult. no local pool store in the list.. I'm hopeful for future features and capabilities

Initially, the Sutro appeared to be an impressive device. My enthusiasm quickly waned after a year of use and frequent moments of utter frustration. Despite numerous attempts to have the device calibrated by tech support , it consistently provided inaccurate alkalinity readings. Even after receiving a replacement, the issue persisted without resolution. Attempts to reach tech support by phone are next to impossible. There needs to be significant improvement before I can recommend Sutro.
