Poor UI Buttons don't do what they seem like they should do (e.g. the hardware back button exits the app instead of going back). Cumbersome to navigate. Mobile deposit image guides are wonky. Mobile deposit works for maybe 1 in 10 checks.
Can't deposit checks Kind of frustrating that in 2015 I can't get the app to read the photos of my checks. If I wanted to mail my checks in, if have time traveled to the 1980s. I'm considering finding a new bank for my startup if this continues.
Good real life leading to good app experience This is an updated review after posting a negative comment. After the posting I had a customer service rep from SVB reach out right away for support and fixed my issue with the mobile deposit. Now the app works great for our needs. Thank you!
Like most other reviewers, I am unable to deposit checks, the primary reason for the existence of the app. It takes the camera about 60 seconds to decide to take a photo, constantly zooming in and out, waiting until the phone is in motion to decide to capture a blurry picture. After spending 20-30 minutes in total trying to get photos it would accept, it then rejected it because it said the amounts didn't match. Please give us some hope that you plan on releasing at least a functional application sometime soon. (I'm on a Galaxy S5)
Awful app. There's no button for selecting mobile check deposits.
Solid app Covers the basics - wire approvals are solid. Webviews are a pain. Tends to get better with each build. Better than most other commercial bank apps I've used.
