Why does the premier bank for Silicon Valley have such incredibly bad tech? I've wasted 45 min of my life now trying to deposit a check through the app. I've tried on a Samsung Galaxy S7, Google Pixel, and iPhone 6. All have been unsuccessful. The check was placed on a black background, in good lighting, with flash on. So picture is perfectly readable. Customer support is also not helpful at all in getting the app to work. They basically just told me to do what the instructions in the app says. And then said the solution was to mail in the check to one of their banking centers.
Nexus 6P UI not optimized for this phone. Completely broken on Android N. Can't click anything once logged in. Please fix.

I am updating my review now that the app has been updated as well. When I originally wrote my review, the check scanning feature was not working and caused much frustration for me. It has since been updated and the scan feature is AMAZING. It is the best I've seen on a bank app. It is able to take a picture of checks in less than 1 second. I am also impressed with SVB's consideration of its customers. Once the app was fixed, I was sent an email informing me and letting me know they took my review into consideration. I was very happy with this acknowledgement and am happy to now update my review to say that the app works great!
Poor features Mobile deposit doesn't work. My little credit union online banking app is better.
