About this app

Spool Scanner is a filament inventory and datasheet reference for any 3D printer user. Read Bambu Lab and Prusa OpenPrintTag spool tags natively, write blank NTAG stickers for every other brand, and track your whole stash with vendor-published technical data behind each material. Every spool gets a scannable identity.

NFC SCAN & WRITE
• Reads Bambu Lab MIFARE Classic tags: material, color, weight, recommended temperatures, drying schedule
• Reads Prusa OpenPrintTag spools (the open NFC-V smart-spool standard, used by Prusament and a growing list of brands): material, brand, color, weight, nozzle and bed temperature ranges, plus extras like serial, manufactured date, density, drying and GTIN
• Writes NDEF data to blank NTAG215 / NTAG216 stickers (about $0.10 each) so any other spool scans just like a smart spool
• Tag details view: copy any single field, or the whole decoded block, to the clipboard
• Rewrite weight after each print to keep inventory accurate

Works with any FDM 3D printer. NFC tag reading is Android-native; iOS restricts the MIFARE NFC class, so this app is Android-only for now.
