Sven's SudokuPad finally lets you play your own Sudoku puzzles in the same app as used by Cracking the Cryptic in their videos. Created by Sven, the same developer who has created and improved the Cracking The Cryptic Sudoku webapp over the past year.

It also includes a few brand new classic Sudokus created by Simon and Mark exclusively for Sven's SudokuPad.

I want to love this app, but it's broken for me. It started when I tried to create my own puzzle. If I toggle on a specific setting, it will not let me toggle it off anymore. And now, after fidgeting with it, it won't show the 9x9 grid lines. I can't input values as there are no cells to put them in. Maybe the PC version works, but the mobile version doesn't. This is not a result of options simply being turned on or off. The app is literally not functioning as intended.

in general, great app! I give 3 stars rather than 5 because the app consistently misbehaves for me (across multiple devices) where fog-puzzels don't reveal themselves properly, and often hide extra information entirely (such as black/white dots indicating relationships between adjacent cells). This is particularly a bummer, because I enjoy these kinds of puzzles the most. As far as I can tell, there's no setting to adjust to help this. If it can be fixed, I'd happily update my review to 5 star

Seems like a good app, but the documentation is really inadequate. The settings page just contains cryptic settings names with no indication of what each does. I spent quite a while trying to find the setting to turn on hillighting of all cells with the same number, but couldn't find it. I don't think I'm an idiot, but I sure felt like one.
