Léon - The URL Cleaner removes tracking and other obsolete parameters from a URL before sharing. Its usage is simple, integrating into Android's standard sharing mechanism.

Léon runs on Android 5.0 and later, is open source and does not contain any tracking or advertising frameworks. Léon does not collect any data about you.

The benefits of removing tracking parameters are:

* Protects your and the recipient's privacy
* Improves readability of links
* Saves characters (in Tweets for example)

Ratings and reviews

Works, but seemingly only for the hardcoded list of services the app supports. There is no customization; if it doesn't work on a given domain, there's no way around that and you're SOL. The app should at least have a way to simply strip everything after and including a ? in a url, if not a more robust method of working for non-hardcoded domains.

Terrific app! I really appreciate how easy it is to use. The only thing I'm missing is the ability to edit the sanitizers a little. I'd love the ability to make — for example — the TikTok sanitizer to change the domain to tnktok for embeds — as that's the only reason I'm copying links from there in the first place. Other examples would be to always append "-ai" to Google searches, adding the "s" in "https" across the board, etc.

UPDATE: Dev is swift to respond and fix, thank you! -- Been using this and it's amazing to remove trackers in links. But I noticed recently, Instagram share included ?igsi in their links instead of the usual ?igsh token, Léon doesn't remove ?igsi yet, would you look into this? Thank you!
