■ Data sources
Demographic indicators (population, growth rate, fertility, life expectancy, aging share, etc.) are sourced from the United Nations World Population Prospects (medium variant):

GDP and GDP per capita are sourced from World Bank Open Data:
https://data.worldbank.org/
The current source is also shown at the bottom of each country card inside the app.
■ Key features
• Interactive 3D globe
Spin, zoom, and tilt a smooth 3D Earth. Tap any country to open its profile.
• Six core demographic metrics on a hexagonal radar
- Population
- Nominal GDP
- Annual growth rate
- Aged 65+ share
- GDP per capita
- Total fertility rate
The radar shows a country's demographic shape at a glance: population size, aging, economic scale, fertility, and more — all on one chart.
• Country-versus-country comparison
Pin one country, tap another, and compare them side by side — radar, bars, and every panel update instantly, with consistent colors for each country.
• Year slider, 1 year at a time, 1960 to 2100
Move year by year through past population shifts and forward-looking projections. A subtle marker separates measured history from projected future on the slider, so it's always clear which is which.
• Globe layers
Color the entire planet by Density, Population, Growth, Fertility, Life Expectancy, Aging 65+, or GDP per capita. See at a glance which regions are densest, oldest, fastest growing, or wealthiest.

■ A note on data accuracy
Values for future years are projections, not measurements. They are based on standard demographic assumptions about fertility, mortality, and migration; real outcomes will depend on policy, technology, climate, and migration shifts that no model fully captures. Treat the projected values as a starting point for exploration and discussion, not as a precise forecast.
GDP values for years past the most recent published data are simple trend-based extrapolations and should be read as a directional indicator only.
Hold a planet in your hand and see for yourself how the world is changing.
