Seems to work really well after initial testing. Being able to play network files is a huge plus. Biggest issue is that it can't see hidden files on your phone. Add a toggle for that and an easy 5 stars. Edit: Another workaround would be for Playa to be listed as an open with program in file explorers like other vr apps are.

Thank you for your feedback! I’ll check with the team regarding hidden files, but unfortunately, I believe it won’t be possible to access them from a third-party app due to system limitations.

The app does what it needs to and does it well. Lots of settings and quality of life features for something this niche is nice. I would recommend using an external controller if you have one, considering the eye click is absolutely intrusive and annoying. Speaking of, if external controllers worked when navigating the web browser for websites not natively supported, instead of needing the eye click to even exit the browser, that would also be great.

Was one of the best apps for cardboard view I'd found, until I got a new phone and found that the sound no longer worked. Would be happy to give it 5 stars if you could see about getting this sound glitch fixed. EDIT: audio issue seems to have been resolved. My only other complaint/recommendation would be to allow for mouse input for simple actions. Otherwise, I'd definitely say this the cleanest and most versatile cardboard app available 👌
