Akazaki Hotaru, a first-year university student, is beginning to feel lost in city life.
To celebrate his grandfather's first Obon festival, he visits his father's hometown of Yokomizo-cho, a place he hasn't visited since elementary school.
He reunites with his grown-up cousins...and his first love.

But Hotaru suddenly learns a shocking truth.
Three years ago, a family suicide occurred in Yokomizo-cho, a town that once seemed perfectly peaceful.
Was it really just a family suicide? Or...

Can Hotaru revive the frozen summer days? And find what he's been searching for?
