About this app

SwiftDrop lets you send photos, videos, documents, and any file type directly between phones over your local WiFi network. No internet connection required, no cloud uploads, no cables — just tap and send.
Works between any combination — Android to Android, iPhone to iPhone, or across platforms.

HOW IT WORKS
Open SwiftDrop on both devices
Make sure both are on the same WiFi network
Tap the device you see, pick your files, and hit send
The other device gets a notification to accept — done

No router? No problem. Use Direct Connect to create a temporary hotspot from your Android device. The other device scans a QR code to join and start transferring immediately.

KEY FEATURES
Cross-platform: Android to Android, iPhone to iPhone, or across platforms
No internet needed: Works entirely over your local WiFi network
Direct Connect: Transfer files without a WiFi router using QR-based hotspot
Fast transfers: Direct device-to-device over TCP — no cloud middleman
Any file type: Photos, videos, music, PDFs, APKs, ZIPs — anything goes
Auto-accept: Optionally skip the accept prompt for faster workflows
Privacy first: Files never leave your network, nothing is uploaded anywhere
Keep screen on: Prevents failed transfers from screen timeouts
Dark and light theme: Choose your look
Custom device names: Know exactly who you're sending to
Transfer notifications: Get notified when files arrive

SwiftDrop is built for the one thing that should be simple but never is — getting a file from one phone to another, regardless of platform.
