I absolutely love SwiftRead! I’ve been using the Chrome extension for years (though I actually use it on Opera) and it’s always been great. But now that there's a mobile app, it’s even better. It syncs across my different devices so I can continue reading seamlessly without losing my place. Plus, since the whole purpose is to read faster, it’s been a game-changer! I also love the 'read out loud' feature; I use it while driving, so it’s basically like having audiobooks on the go.

This is a very good reading application. A new update came out today, and I updated it. In this update, you increased the speed from 5x to 9x, which is very good. However, you changed the minimum speed from 10 WPM to 50 WPM, and that is not working well for me. I do both slow reading and fast reading, so I would like you to keep the minimum speed limit the same as before, at 10 WPM 😕

Thanks for the kind words, Hemant. You're right, both fast and slow reading matters. I just published another update to the app that brings the minimum speed back down to 10 WPM. It might take a day or so for your app to automatically update. You can reach me at help@swiftread.com if you have any other questions! Troy, Developer of SwiftRead

Excellent both for speed reading as well as language learning (once you have a modest vocabulary or better). It's helped my focus greatly when reading in my target language, and with the subscription there's the added benefit of text to speech.

Thanks, Mikkel — this is exactly one kind of use case I’m building SwiftRead for: focused reading and TTS working together to assit with language learning. Really glad it’s helping! Troy, Developer of SwiftRead

What’s new

- Restored support for very slow reading speeds down to 10 WPM.
- Improved the speed display at the slowest settings so it stays clear and accurate.
