HOW IT WORKS
• Scan each worker's QR badge to record time in/out — sub-second per scan, so a full team checks in without a queue.
• Every scan captures a quick audit photo, giving a visual record alongside the timestamp.
• The app detects which job site you're at automatically using GPS and Wi-Fi — no manual site selection at shift start.
• No badge on hand? Supervisors can verify a worker manually with an ID check as a fallback.

WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET
Scanning runs entirely offline. Attendance data is saved to an encrypted local database on the device the instant it's captured. When the phone reconnects — minutes or weeks later — RETA One syncs everything to the backend automatically in the background, without ever interrupting the next shift's scanning.

BUILT FOR THE REALITIES OF FIELD WORK
• Handles multi-day or multi-week offline gaps gracefully — there's no cap on how long a device can go without syncing.
• Flags exceptions (unrecognized badges, out-of-fence scans, unresolved shift gaps) for supervisor review instead of guessing.
• Local data is encrypted end-to-end on-device (SQLCipher), keeping worker and attendance data protected before it ever reaches the server.
