Screen Ledger shows your screen time and lets you set your own app limits, entirely on your device. No account, no cloud, no accessibility service, no ads — and nothing is paywalled. When a limited app runs over, a calm full-screen reminder appears with a choice: close it, or hold a button for five more minutes. Friction, not force. You stay in charge.

PRIVATE IN A WAY OTHERS AREN'T
Your usage data is sensitive. Screen Ledger reads it with Android's standard usage-access permission and keeps every byte on the phone. There is no analytics code and no way for the app to phone home — the only network use is Google Play's own billing, and only if you choose to leave a tip. No accessibility service is used or requested.

A clean dashboard: total screen time and a per-app breakdown with simple bars. Pull it up, get the picture, put the phone down.

LIMITS THAT RESPECT YOU
Give any app a daily minute budget. When it's spent, the gentle wall appears over the app. "Close it" sends you home; "5 more minutes" needs a deliberate 3-second hold — enough pause to make it a choice instead of a reflex.

MINDFUL PAUSE
Opening an app you've chosen shows a short countdown first, then asks a simple question: how long do you want this visit to be? Pick 1 to 15 minutes and Screen Ledger holds you to it — when the time you chose runs out, the wall appears.

BLOCK AN APP RIGHT NOW
Need an app gone for the afternoon? Block it for 1 to 24 hours. The wall stays up — no five-more-minutes escape — and the block lifts by itself when the time is up.

SCHEDULES FOR REAL WEEKS
Quiet hours grew up: set as many windows as you like, each with its own days of the week and its own apps. Work mornings, school nights, weekend afternoons — each schedule shows the wall over its apps during its window.

SESSION REMINDERS
Optional and factual: after continuous time in an app you watch, a small notification tells you the number. Just the minutes, no judgement.

If Screen Ledger buys some of your time back, there's an optional tip jar in Settings. Tipping is never required — every feature is already yours.
