ARecover is a tool designed to recover the deleted data from any kind of drives and partitions.

It will recover data from deleted disks or formatted as well, giving the user the chance to recover that pictures, documents, music, videos, etc that were lost in a corrupted or formatted sd card.

It works with external and internal sd card and external Usb drives.

It supports many common extensions as jpg, gif, png, bmp, mp3, mp4, doc, pdf, xml, zip, gz, rar, etc. and a friendly user interface to let the user recover his data easily.

This application is hardly based in recphoto recover tool from Cgsecurity, so credits to them to offer that nice tool.

Also credits to Open Source community, for all the efforts and tools freely available with its open source code.

Rooted phone is required to recover the data and read the raw devices.

This is it! I've lambasted every phony data recovery app here in the play store. They are merely ad platforms. This app works! Corrupted disk no prob, even SD cards that weren't detected by my tablet were recovered and repaired. Look for Sylkats other products: AParted and others — Awesome. My only criticism is that Sylkat Should provide an avenue for paid subscription to remove ads. It's stressful enough when trying to recover highly valued data that no one needs an ad jumping in the mix.

Those who complain that this app doesn't work are totally idiots. First they must understand that root will always be needed as successful recovery needs access to the partitions. Been using photorec for pc and after reading the app description that this was app was based on it is a keyword that this app is legit. If you don't have basic understanding with android recovery partitions then don't complain. Anyway, how long does 'scanning disk' takes?

One of the better file recovery apps. It does say, and always mentioned, that a rooted phone will give better results. That's the whole reason I'm typing this, just to troll.
