About this app

Fire Connect is the live fire roll call app for Syncro Connect and Edu Connect. When the alarm sounds, it shows fire marshals exactly who is on site, so everyone can be checked safe at the assembly point and anyone missing is spotted quickly.

HOW IT WORKS
Start a roll call and Fire Connect lists everyone currently on site, taken from your clockings, sign-ins and visitor records. Marshals tick people off as safe as they arrive at the assembly point, and the list updates for every marshal at once.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Start a fire drill from the app, or follow a live incident started in Syncro Connect
- Have several marshals work the same list at the same time
- Filter the list by assembly point, site, department, job title, or staff, pupils and visitors
- Search for a person by name
- See who is still to be accounted for and who has been checked safe
- Call someone straight from the list where a mobile number is held
- Undo a mistaken tick
- Close the roll call once everyone is accounted for

BUILT FOR SCHOOLS
Edu Connect users can run a roll call for a single school or the whole trust, and filter the list to show only pupils.

YOUR RECORDS
Every roll call is kept in Syncro Connect under Roll Call, and the roll call reports can be exported as PDF, Excel or CSV for your fire records.

WHO IT IS FOR
Fire marshals, site managers and safety leads at organisations that use Syncro Connect or Edu Connect.

GOOD TO KNOW
Fire Connect needs a Syncro Connect or Edu Connect account. It uses the staff, site, department and assembly point details already held in your system, so there is nothing extra to set up for each drill. Fire Connect can only list people your system knows are on site, so it works best when everyone clocks or signs in and out. A data connection is needed to record people as safe.
