About this app

The GOVCbus app provides real-time arrival ​information for all bus services in Ventura County. Use the app to find out where Ventura County transit will take you, and when your next bus will arrive. Mark favorite stops, set reminders, get alerts, and plan your trip. This service is provided by the Ventura County Transportation Commission on behalf of the transit operators of Ventura County including Gold Coast Transit, VCTC, Thousand Oaks Transit, the Valley Express, Simi Valley Transit, Moorpark City Transit, Ojai Trolley, Kanan Shuttle, and Camarillo Area Transit.

Downgraded to 2 stars, 1) because it has a persistent problem of reopening to a blank screen, requiring me to uninstall and then reinstall the app, in order to get it to work properly; 2) lately & worse, the schedule and bus arrival times have been unusually inaccurate or even about phantom buses that don't exist, and 3) the current location of buses doesn't always show up; that feature is this app's best and most useful one for me because it lets me judge if the schedule is accurate.

Great app when the times are shown correctly. Sometimes buses aren't showing when they should be. Wait times are usually innacurate, sometimes you wait for a bit too long, sometimes you miss the bus despite it saying you have plenty of time to make it. Very inconsistent app and frustrating to many.

This app just recently updated and I'm not sure if the developers tested it. I use a Galaxy A51 and the old app worked just fine. The new update seemed to have broken it. I tried to uninstall and reinstall and that didn't do anything. The app just sits loading forever with no progress at all. I hope they fix this quickly
