Duplicant makes a second copy of an app you already have. Both sit on your home screen, both stay signed in, and neither one knows about the other.

Tap a clone and it opens.

NOTIFICATIONS ARRIVE
A clone gets its own notifications, with its own icon, its own sound and its own buttons. This is the thing people ask for most, and it works for the apps we have tested it on.

TELL YOUR COPIES APART
Give a clone its own name and a coloured mark. "Work" and "Personal", instead of two identical icons you have to guess between.

NO ACCOUNT, NO SYNC
No account and no sign-up. Duplicant never sees what you do inside a copy: no login, nothing syncing, nothing uploaded. Two things do leave, and both are worth saying plainly. If something breaks, Duplicant can send us a report naming the app it broke on — that switch is in Settings and you can turn it off. And the free version's ads come from Google, which receives what an ad is normally told.

WHAT'S FREE
Two copies of each app and five copies in total. Every feature is included: profiles, home-screen shortcuts, a searchable app list, putting your copies in any order, and a stop button that closes a copy for real. The free version shows ads.

DUPLICANT MAX
One payment. No subscription, nothing renews, and nothing to cancel. It removes the ads and raises both limits.

WHAT IT CANNOT DO
Some apps check whether they are running inside a copy and refuse to start. Banking apps and some games are the usual ones, and no cloning tool can change that.
Only one copy of each app receives push notifications at a time, and you choose which one.
VPN apps do not work inside a copy.
Up to 32 copies can run at the same time.
Copies do not get your location.

PERMISSIONS
Duplicant asks for what it needs to run your copies, plus the advertising ID the free version's ads use. Android can also ask you for the camera, the microphone, access to music and audio, your contacts, or a phone permission. That happens only during setup, which you can skip, or when a copy asks, and the box says Duplicant. If you say no, the copy just can't use that part. No photos, no location.

What’s new

Stop now keeps a copy stopped. A stopped copy no longer starts again by itself in the background, its notifications are cleared, and its scheduled tasks and alarms wait until you open it again.

Google services in copies start faster.

Fixed copies of some protected apps closing as soon as they open.

Fixed copies closing in apps that hide other apps' floating windows.

Fixed some freezes, including one in Google services after your phone restarts.
