A new puzzle every day. Cover the calendar with pieces — every cell except the current month, day, and weekday. Sounds simple. Plays harder. Some days fall together in a flash; others have you working around three cells while the kettle whistles.
What Makes Daytl Different
Most daily puzzles want you to find their answer. Every puzzle here has many valid solutions, and Daytl helps you find yours. The solver and hints work around your choices instead of steering you toward one correct answer. They preserve what you've already built, helping you finish what you started rather than start over.
Three Daily Modes
- Dawn: the classic rectangular board. A bright start to the morning.
- Dusk: same shape, different pieces and layout. A puzzle for the end of the day.
- Honey: the hexagonal variant. Pieces rotate in six directions instead of four.
Hints That Honor Your Progress
- Check: see which pieces are correctly placed and which need to move. Daytl finds a solution that keeps as many of your pieces correct as possible.
- Reveal: pick a piece and Daytl places it for you, in a position that fits your path to the finish.
- Play your way: use up to six hints per puzzle, or go purist with none. Entirely up to you.
Replay, Differently
One solution isn't the end. Because the solver adapts to your first few moves, a second pass produces a second solution. A third produces a third.
A Small Habit, Tracked Gently
Daytl tracks your streaks and times and saves them locally to your device. No leaderboards, no shouting, no nagging notifications — just your own progress.
If you enjoy tangrams, pentominoes, Wordle, or Connections, Daytl is your next daily habit.
Two minutes a day. That's the whole commitment.
