DocScanner turns paper into clean PDF files and text. There are no ads and there is no account. Your documents stay on your phone.

Three ways to add a page
- Scan: the camera finds the page, cuts it and straightens it.
- Take photo: use your camera app, then set the page corners.
- Import image: pick a photo that you already have.

Clean pages
- DocScanner finds the edges of the page by itself. Drag a corner to correct it. A magnifier helps you place it exactly.
- Choose Colour, Grayscale or Black & White for each page. Black & White makes text sharp and removes shadows.
- Change the page order, crop a page again, or delete it at any time.

Read the text (OCR)
Text recognition runs on your phone. English, German and Greek are included. You can add more than 60 other languages with one tap: French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Russian and many more. Only the language file downloads. Your pages never leave the phone.

Share or save in the format you need
- PDF
- Searchable PDF: the page looks the same, and you can search and copy its text
- JPG and PNG images
- TXT plain text
- DOCX for Word, with the image and the text of each page

Send a file with any app on your phone, or save it to a folder that you choose.

Private by design
- No ads. No account. No subscription.
- Your documents stay in the app on your phone. We do not upload them.
- The app uses the internet only to download OCR language files.
