Know exactly which way to point your TV aerial. Tower Aim finds the right digital TV tower near you and guides you with a live compass until you're on target, even offline. Built for homeowners and caravanners, plus antenna installers, electricians and AV professionals, who can add job records, photos and branded PDF reports with Tower Aim Installer.

TOWER AIM (A$4.99, one-off purchase)
Nationwide ACMA data: every licensed digital TV transmitter in Australia, 2,598 transmitters across 582 sites, updated 28 September 2026. Built into the app, so it works offline.
• Find nearby towers: compare recommended free-to-air transmitters by distance and published power
• Live compass and AR aim: follow the compass arrow, or use AR aiming on phones that support it to see which way to turn toward the tower
• Lock the bearing: get a clear target bearing (your antenna direction) and polarisation before you aim your aerial, then see when you're on target
• Estimated reception and Need help? tips: a plain rating from Excellent to Poor, and step-by-step checks if the picture breaks up
• Transmitter details: broadcast services with channels, frequencies and transmitter power
• Map view: see your location and the recommended transmitter
• Terrain line of sight: check the elevation profile for hills that may block the path to the tower, using the built-in 500 m terrain map. Trees and buildings are not included. Installer adds a more detailed terrain map
• Neighbourhood reports (optional): see how nearby viewers rate reception from a tower, once enough reports are in. Anonymous, with no name or account, and location rounded to about 1 km. Aiming works if you skip it
• Light and dark mode: choose the display that suits your surroundings
• Great for caravans and RVs: find nearby TV transmitters wherever the road takes you, and check which tower to aim for at each stop
• No ads, no account, no analytics

TOWER AIM INSTALLER (optional subscription)
For antenna, electrical and AV professionals. Keep every job together: tower, before and after readings, photos and notes, then share a branded PDF report on site. Installer needs Tower Aim and adds:
• Jobs: organise customer jobs by status
• New job: customer details and installation site
• Job details: transmitter, readings, photos and notes in one place
• Readings: signal readings before and after, entered from your own test equipment. The phone does not measure TV signal
• Photo record: Before, During and After photos
• Add photos from the camera or photo library
• Notes and dictation
• Client-ready PDF reports with your business logo and contact details, ready to share
• More detailed terrain (250 m): a finer map for the line-of-sight check. It is a download after you subscribe, so Wi-Fi recommended. Delete it and Tower Aim falls back to the built-in 500 m map
• Optional email updates, confirmed by a link we email you; unsubscribe any time
• Your jobs, photos and notes stay on your phone until you share them

• The subscription renews automatically at the same price each month or year until you cancel
