1988 — a collaborative detective platform. One case file, a team beside you, and a clock that does not wait.
Open the file and you get what an investigator gets: suspects with their own stories, witness statements, photographed evidence, the forensic report, and the details of the crime as it happened. You have thirty minutes to read it with your team before the questions begin.
How a case is solved
• Invite your friends: two to four investigators per session.
• Thirty minutes with the file — one timer for the whole team, starting the moment the case is shown.
• Five rounds, four questions each, sixty seconds per question.
• Then the culprit stage: every member points at a suspect, and the choice locks only when all of them agree.
• Finally the verdict: was the case solved, or did the culprit walk away?
Team mode
With three or four players the investigators split into two teams — the Knife and the Gun — each with a captain. Members point at an answer, the team confirms it, the captain locks it, and a locked answer cannot be changed. A private team chat stays between you.
Team challenges
Challenge another team on a single case at a time you both agree on. An open challenge lives for twenty-four hours. Whoever withdraws loses, and the prize goes to the other team. The result appears on the challenge card and can be shared as an image.
Championships
Your team subscribes before registration closes. On the day, the gathering room opens at its hour and then shuts — a team that is not fully present is excluded. The investigation starts at the announced hour, the same hour for every team wherever they are. No scores and no ranking are shown between rounds; results are announced when the championship ends: team ranking, points, and who solved the case — never the solution itself.
The Investigators' Guild
Every investigator has a name and a rank that rises with the cases they solve. Browse the guild ordered by level, search for a particular investigator, filter by country, and send friend requests. Teams have their own pages, ranking and statistics.
