A little minor Nepali. Did you know that Japanese people are actually the easiest language to learn?
However, there are not many books or teaching materials in Japanese. So I thought it would be useful to have a shared dictionary, so I created one. A shared dictionary means that the contents of the dictionary are created and modified by everyone. As the word "Heron" is used in the name of the app, we hope that this dictionary app will make everyone feel like, "Let's take a look!"
The features of this app are as follows.
1. Convenient search function.
You can search by Japanese meaning, katakana, romaji, Devanagari, etc.
If you enter part of a word, a fuzzy search will be performed to narrow down the search results, allowing you to quickly find the word you are looking for.
Although learning katakana is generally not recommended when studying languages, this app intentionally allows searches in katakana, making it an easy-to-use dictionary even for beginners. Please try searching for the Nepali words you heard in katakana.
Also, as a search tip, in Nepali, the stem of the verb changes and suffixes are added, so you can find the word you are looking for by erasing the last letters of the word you have entered.
2. Dictionary data sharing function.
This app is synchronized with the cloud and allows you to use the latest dictionary data. Also, dictionary data can be easily updated by anyone, so the more users there are, the easier it will be to use the dictionary. Of course, it can also be used offline, so you can use it when traveling to Nepal.
3. Online dictionary linkage function.
By using the link function with online dictionaries, you can easily look up the meanings and example sentences of words using online dictionaries.
By registering the URL of the online dictionary on the "Various Settings" screen, you can use it in conjunction with other online dictionaries.
4. Flash card function.
When learning a new language, the most difficult part is remembering the words. Each word has a heart-shaped favorite button, and if you check it, you can repeat the word you want to memorize using flashcards from ``Registered'' in ``Learn'' mode.
